Pinto Stampede // 16.07. bis 16.07.2021

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is time to register for the Pinto Stampede and the 50th Anniversary at Ford in Dearborn.
First, you don’t have to Stampede to go to Dearborn and you don’t have to go to Dearborn to Stampede if you just want to ride along part of the way with us or if you just want to attend at Dearborn. All are welcome. But we do need your information so follow the details below. If you already sent it in full we will be emailing you shortly with the confirmation.
Second, The 50th Anniversary at Ford will be held on Friday July 16th, 2021 Rain or Shine. Ford absolutely requires we supply them with a full list of attendees by May 1st, 2021. So I need all registrations for the 50th no later than April 26th so I can have my spreadsheets done and submitted prior. Below is what is required to be sent to me:
- Year
- Make
- Model
- Sub-model/Trim Series/Body style
- Full name/Address/Phone/Email
- At least one full front/side picture of the vehicle in accurate, current condition
- Optional: Any fact(s) you feel are significant
We are honored to be included at this event, this is the third time The Pinto Stampede has been to this event and we are the only car club ever to attend and we have an open invitation and we thank all the previous participants for helping us make this event a success. I want to mention one more thing regarding this show. The Pintos can come and have come rusty, Bondo covered, etc. They love us and they want to see them all.
Third, we will have four separate Stampedes to this event. Basic routes are provided below, full details to these will be coming later, please indicate which Stampede you wish to join as we are keeping separate lists so the Trail Bosses know who and what to expect.
Northwest Stampede: This Stampede will begin in Salt Lake City Utah and follow Interstate 80 up until just past Chicago where it will head up toward Dearborn. This Stampede will start on approximately Sunday July 11th, travel will be 1,661 miles over 5 days with an average of 330 miles per day. Cheyenne, Lincoln, Omaha, Des Moines, Chicago will be cities passed along the route. This is the longest run of the 2021 Stampede’s. Events and Hotels will be announced later. One stop for sure will be the Iowa 80, the world’s biggest truck stop. If you haven’t been there, it’s a neat place to stretch your legs and see a dentist or chiropractor, or buy a sword or that big chrome smoke stack for your rig.
Southwest Stampede: This Stampede will begin in Amarillo Texas and follow alongside the old Route 66 with historic and the occasion route 66 run. Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Springfield, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Dayton Ohio will be along the route. This Stampede will also start on Sunday July 11th and will average about 260 miles per day. This Stampede will ronde Vue with two other Stampedes for the final run on Wednesday to Dearborn. Events and Hotels will be announced later.
Southeast Stampede: This Stampede will begin in Tampa Florida and will follow Interstate 75 right on up from Tampa to Dearborn. This Stampede will start on Monday July 12th and will travel 1,173 miles with an average of 320 miles per day. Cities passed through include Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Toledo. This Stampede will ronde Vue with two other Stampedes for the final run on Wednesday to Dearborn. Events and Hotels will be announced later. We may reduce the miles per day and add a day if everyone wants to do more stops and events.
Northeast Stampede: This Stampedes exact start location has to be determined (possibly near Allentown PA) as it is a new late addition. It will begin on Tuesday July 13th, 2021 and travel along Interstate 70 to Dayton and will average about 260 miles per day. This Stampede will ronde Vue with two other Stampedes for the final run on Wednesday to Dearborn. Events and Hotels will be announced later.
The Stampede’s and Ford event are rain or shine events, Hopefully we can get past the Covid shutdowns and begin some normal life again and what better way than to get into your Pinto and drive?
Thank You and see you on the road for the Greatest Stampede ever!
