  Hallo na dann gehören die ganzen Autos die in Biel und in Belgien und in Frankreich unter den Namen Chevy Olds Ponti Cadi Rampler etc gebaut wurden auch nicht da zu oder ?? Damit alle mal sehen um was es hier geht hier ein Foto. Das erste Auto ist es.

  Now, jetz auf Deutsch: Der Punkt ist diese, wenn die unten genannte Mucle Cars tauchen auf (made in Canada) die Jungs in Immendingen denken its cool. Sie sollten den Schulbank drücken, English lernen und dann können sie feststellen, dass die Hälfte der Autos are made in Canada- inklusive the new Camaro. In Gegensatz zu ein Dodge/Saturn Sky welche in übrigen sind verkauft bei einem local Dodge dealer mit Saturn sales departement. Das nächstes mal ein neue Camaro taucht auf, ich hoffe der Kerl an dem Eingang hat sein English auch verbessert und schreit: No fuckin Canadian Camaros!!! Endlich hat gemerkt von Euch jemand, dass nicht zählt was Du bringst, sondern wie oder warum Du auf ein Treffen kommst: nämlich good friends, great times und alle deutsche Bubies können denken sie sind real americans für ein paar Stunde.   Oh wie peinlich! Ihr wollt es nicht verstehen, oder? Dodge Charger und Chrysler 300c werden im Übrigen auch in Canada gebaut! Der 300C und der Jeep Grand Cherokee wurden übrigens auch mal in Österreich montiert usw.

  @@Rodgers Hi buddy! There was a nice doku on discovery channel last night- about the new chevy camaro! Did you know the camaro is built in CANADA?!? Hope you didnt order that cool car, yet-cuz its not an real us-american car now and the guy at the gate in immendingen will want you to stay outside with it again ;) Is it real american or not - what a silly discussion in that forum... See U man :)

  @rodgers: An Opel GT as u drive is not a Dodge! It's a Saturn Model called Sky! It has nothing in common with a Dodge! And I think nobody here over in Germany will tell you on an Opel Meeting that you have an american car - it's an Opel in minds and visually. It's even no Corvette. There's a bigger discussion on the korean made chevrolets over here in Germany - nobody wants to see an Matiz or other stuff from easter parts of the world on an US Car Meeting here, but they forgot often the HHR, still a real american car with the right badge! what i wanted to tell you is: Opels are not american - it's a german brand nethertheless where it'smade, otherthise it's sisterbrand Chevrolet - an american brand! Dont worry, some guys over here think that a VW Beetle is more american that any other american car, that was importet to germany, cause it ran in the states maybe longer than other us car - you cant understand anyone anyway, have fun with AmeriCar.de and practise your german ;-) kind regards thomas

  I cant change that I am an American. I can dress up in lederhosen, eat schnitzel, go to oktoberfest- but I am still an American. And Opel is still a freakin Dodge Saturn. Doesnt matter if an Opel logo on it or not. I get shit when I go to an Opel treffen with my GT, they tell me it is an american car. So I guess I have to put in an LT1 Corvette motor in it. My buddy Chuck made the aninversary editions for Irmscher and the only thing I can do now is to put an V8 in it! But then I am back where I started from - should I put on an corvette logo on it or not? Can I go to a corvette meet, or they are gonna tell me it is a sky and not a corvette. But any way, what ever the hell I do, I wont be going back to Immendingen. Or maybe I will, just to see the guys face on the gate when I show him the corvette badge. This is starting to sound like a Jhonny Cash song: 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 Lincoln Automobile...Just like Dogde, Saturn, Solstice, Pontiac, Sky.... It is all about having fun and meeting people. It doesnt mean shit what you bring and the guys from Immendingen should be happy they get more people interested in going into the show. I dont know what you Germans have with the Opels, it is like too stupide for this American....

  Mein Kommentar: Ami treffen sind amitreffen. Opel treffen sind Opel treffen ich fahr auch nicht mit meinem chevy auf das mopar nationals. Und auch wenn die Karre in den States gebaut wird- mit nem Opel Meriva - made in Spain- kommste auch nicht auf ein Seat treffen

  Oh ja, that Amy guy is telling the truth. He had to stay outside with his real american car... Übrigens, eine woche zuvor hat dieses car den 1. Preis der Zuschauer gewonnen at 66 us car meet in Donaueschingen. Ebenso den 1. Platz für Lackierung von den Schwarzwald-Baar-Dragons und ich glaube sogar 2. Platz Gesamtwertung beim Opel meet in Schramberg... Das Ding hat voll Bums mit über 360 PS und er hat alles selbst lackiert, inklusive Karosserieverbreiterung (das Ding hat einen breiteren Arsch als ein 911er) @@ Mike : Hi buddy, next time just change the logos back to Dodge Saturn Sky, I guess the guy at the gate wouldnt know the difference ;-) Take it easy, cheesy UDO

  My erfahrung on the Immendingen car show 2010 was a total freekin flop! Ich hab endlich eine freie tag with my 14 jährige son und damit wanted to spend some quality time at a car show mit unser 364 hp Opel GT/ Dodge Saturn Sky. Wie jederman weiss is my GT gebaut in USA and is genauso a washecht American like me. I was stopped at the eingang by a scummy ungepflegte harley typ who was very beleidigend and abwisend. Er hat only geschrien NO OPELS!....Mein Opel GT not american?? What the fuck, my car has won 3 first places, allready in the past !! Wie jeder Schulkind weiss, is the GT made in Delaware USA und der Typ, ein angeblich Kenner of american Autos, sollt das auch so wissen. Nicht nur hat er unser Tag verarscht und unser frei Zeit mit Freunde durch sein Ignoranz vergeudet, in the end we were totally pissed off! Der einzige positiv word was Ich can sagen is, dass in 2011 wir lassen unsere anderen autos at home bleiben. Übrigens die sind: - 1979 Z28 Camaro 383 - Ford T-Bucket from the AlexanderBrothers - 55 Chevy - 2 Harley Davidson show winners in Milwaukee USA - and don t forget my whole collection of Lincoln Continentals Was soll man sagen, ich habe meine ehrliche Erfahrung geschrieben über Immendingen and as eine Besitzer von eine Motorinstandsetzungfirma werde Ich normalerweise gern auf ein us car meet wie diese gesehen. Falls we meet at eine andere treffen, Ich helfe jedem gern mit Tips und Teile Beschaffung usw. Regards HOTROD RODGERS See U down the road!!!
